Biography

I am Filipino, currently based in the Philippines. I am 27 years old and happily married to my Filipino husband named Almier. I am a proud mother to Jay Alrich whose turning 3 years old on March 20, 2008. I am a stay-at-home mom, and usually starts and finishes my day taking care of a playful toddler. Though it may sound so-so to other people, I found profound joy in staying home with my son because I get to see him growing each day, literally and figuratively speaking. Children now adays are growing fast and sometimes we hardly notice it. Either full time mom or a working mom, I believe that each of us should always make it a point to allot a quality time with our kids to constantly keep in touch with their needs may it be emotionally or physically. We must get attuned to every words they want us to hear. A simple 'how are you today?' and reading bedtime stories each night with our children means alot to them.As for me, each day bonding with my son is a well-spent day!
My hobbies are playing ps2 games with my son, watching playhouse disney channel, and when all my 'mom-stuffs' chores are done and my boy is asleep i keep in touch with my family and friends through chatting with them in the internet. I love cooking for my family, I like cooking different pasta dishes and the famous 'adobo' -- a filipino dish.
I am an artsy person, I like making scrapbooks. And during my not-so-busy days, when my son is busy drawing cars, coloring, or when his eyes are pretty glued to his favorite dvd Cars 'lightning mcqueen', I surf the net to be constantly in-the-know of what's happening around me and get an update on issues related to parenting, inspirational stories of people around the world and political issues (but only those that has an eye-catching Headlines :-0 (did I say, worth reading?... I guess so!)
