Biography

Mom to five amazing "kids" (two are grown) and two equally amazing grandchildren.

Balance...that's what I seek and what eludes me. Balance is like the ocean...sometimes calm and peaceful, sometimes raging. And shifting...like the sand, elusive, taunting--can't always keep it in hand.

Spirituality...is there a place in Heaven for another doubting Thomas (I don't doubt Him, mind you...just the dogma of many religious institutions)? I'm not too concerned about Heaven, though. It will take care of itself. I don't believe it is as exclusive as some people think. The God I know and love is, well, loving, accepting, understanding, unknowable yet utterly available.

Fitness: Yep, I love it...in all its forms. I'm not perfectly fit...as I have many many many other interests and passions (family, friends, reading, writing, singing...) but fitness is definitely up there on my priority list.

Nutrition: Another interest. Wish I knew EVERYTHING there is to know about it...and then how to put it all into practice effortlessly. Utopia?

The Future: Will it include robots who do the dishes, the laundry, clean the bathrooms, vacuum & scrub the floors? Heck, I'll do the garage, if the robots will do the rest! Bring em on...please!! And soon...
