I challenge all of you to click on the Crafts tab at the top of the page and find a craft that you would enjoy doing with your kids. Any season, any holiday, any theme. You don't actually have to make it, just find one and post its title and link here and say what you like about it. :) One of my favorites is the Snowman on a Stick http://crafts.kaboose.com/snowman-on-a-stick.html

This is a cool (and easy) way to teach the concept of weaving. You could mix it up with different animal or weather pictures.
I love this snow family finger puppets:

Hi Everyone,
Before I join any groups or anything else, I'd like to know if young minded Grandmas are welcome. I have 3 grandchildren 4/5 & 6&1/2, and love doing crafts with them. I also do crafts of my own. Can someone please let me know if I will be welcome or if there is a Grandmothers Group. Somebody PLEASE get back to me and PLEASE let me know.
Thanks, bronxladyj or bronxladyj@optonline.net

I think this idea is something my youngest is going to enjoy. She's really been using her beads a lot lately. And I think we could turn this into something for more than just Valentine's Day...switch the shape, maybe into a flower and you've got something for grandma too ..just a thought, but I really do like this idea!
I like the Valentine candy jar. And I do believe I will be making them on Thursday since it's my day off.
I think that it would be fun to make a time capsule with my kids to open in 5 yrs.
It would be fun to see how much they've grown by then--my son will be 15!! and my daughter will be 9!
Here is the craft that we are thinking of doing:
Cookie Tin Time Capsule

I think that the snowman on a stick that you've picked, Amanda, is sooo cute!!
