Around here it doesn't. I have had a migrain for the past two days. While i was up all night cleaning the shower and fridge nothing else got done in the house today at all.
Its just frustrating for me
Depending on my husband's work schedule, he'll do things that I ask him to do. But if I have a bad headache, I don't worry about things getting done. It's all I can do to take care of the kids, and as soon as DH gets home, I go lay down.
Nothing gets done around here if I am sick. Or, to be more honest, stuff gets done very slowly as I putter around feverish and in pain. DH might give the kids a snack or put a video on for them so I can sleep, but the house would just fall apart. Last night I was running a fever and was very achy, but I managed a less than fancy dinner, loaded the dishwasher, and vacuumed the worst looking rooms. One kid got a bath, the other fell asleep early, and the wash sat in the dryer overnight...... but that's life. Today the kids got poptarts and applesauce for breakfast so that I could fill myself with coffee and medicine before facing the day.
If I'm sick, the place literally looks like a hurricane went through. It's amazing how fast the place turns into a dump too! I just don't allow myself to get sick.
DH is really good about cleaning even when I'm not sick. He usually cleans more than me anyways lol.

If I am sick my hubby cleans everything..... he is really good with helping out with the housework anyways.
If I'm sick in bed sick, dh will feed ds and go through the usual routine with him. But CLEAN? You've got to be kidding me. If I'm lucky the dishes might get washed.. but usually they're piled in the sink waiting for me to wash them the next day.
Unfortunately when mom is sick the whole house falls apart. They don't know how lucky they are to have us :).
I can't be to hard but my house doesn't get cleaned unless I do it. My kids are starting to help. "The Hubby" does ok with the kitchen. I don't even have time to clean.
Nope, If I'm sick, the house can wait for me.
It doesn't around here, either. My hubby will feed the girls and if I'm lucky, give them a bath, but thats about the extent. Oh, and he's put clothes in the washer when we've been out of clean towels or his underwear, but thats it.
