Just curious what everyone's favorite family movie is... mine is still The Wizard of Oz but I gotta say that Cars is running a close second now!

I'm thinkin Nemo.  We have always enjoyed Cars, The Toy Story's, Monster's Inc, The Incredibles, Charlotte's Web ...  But the one that the whole family will sit and watch over and over is Nemo.  :0)

I like Nemo too however, my son can't get past the first part where the mommy dies... so I nixed it. Gotta tell ya, I'm not too big on that part either! LOL... but the rest of the movie and the effects are awesome!

Most definitly The Princess Bride and any old musicals. My 9yr old daughter adores The Music Man, Gigi, The King and I, My Fair Lady and of course The Sound of Music. Also the old Bob Hope/ Bing Crosby road movies. But her all time fav ( and mine)  is Bringing Up Baby w/ Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant . We don't get any tv or cable of any kind so our DVD's are watched often!

I vote for Nemo too.  Everyone loves that one.

My family's all-time favourite movie is The Princess Bride. It started way back to when I got it for my birthday shortly after it came out onVHS...

In fact, it is so well loved in my family that at my cousin's wedding, her brother recited the "marriage" speech that the Abbot was giving during her ceremony! It was so great!

When it comes to my nephews though, they go through phases. First Shrek, then Nemo and now I think he's on Robots. But Nemo is a timeless classic.

Hi again... Just wanted to add after reading Lolly's post that the love song "Storybook Love" from The Princess Bride was our wedding song 17 years ago!

My families favorite movie is Barnyard.  This animated movie is so funny.  I do not mind watching it two times a week.  My husband even watches it over again whenever the girls want to watch.  Nemo and Lady and The Tramp is a close second though.

Cars and Nemo are a big hit in my house, too.  We also like Homeward Bound.

We are movie crazy at our house - My son isnt really into all the cartoon movies. But a good fall back that we ALL dont mind watching is Uncle Buck. I try to find movies me and my husband and my son would get into. We also like Zathura, Firehouse Dog. Basically any movie with a young boy in it - for my son to follow his story. (he will even ask for Poseideon and ask about Conner - the boy in the movie).
