Your Mom's Philosophy

11:10am, May 6, 2008

We've got the perfect contest to tell you about for Mother's Day. Hurry up and enter:

“mom’s philosophy” (www.yourmomsphilosophy.com), an interactive website launched by philosophy just in time for mother’s day, gives customers a meaningful way to celebrate their mothers’ wisdom while also creating a unique gift for Mom that will touch people everywhere.

“mom’s philosophy” was created to engage philosophy customers in a whole new way.  they’ll be able to share stories, pictures and videos of one of the most important people in their lives, and can also connect with others through rating and commenting on other pages. In addition, non-philosophy customers will truly understand that the company is about living joyously, feeling well and being good to yourself and others.

Anyone who creates a page will have the chance to win the ultimate gift for mom, a $1,200 shopping spree on philosophy.com. Each visitor to yourmomsphilosophy.com will be able to rate every page they read, and on mother’s day, philosophy will reveal the top 20 rated pages and everyone who visits the site that day will be able to vote for their favorite page to receive the grand prize. All 20 finalists will receive a philosophy gift basket, valued at $250 each.

How to Create a Page:

To get started, go to the site and click on “post mom’s philosophy.” You will be directed to a submission form where you can fill in all the appropriate information to share the lessons she has taught you, and then upload your favorite pictures or a video, if you choose. You can fill in your mom’s email address and elect to have philosophy send her a message about the page.  On mother’s day, mom will receive an email inviting her to read your tribute.

philosophy will review your story and post it within three days. Once your page is posted, you can invite friends and family to view and rate it, and others can even add their own perspectives by choosing the “build a family” link.
